
Following his certification, Dr. Kol pursued a position as a fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Maryland at the Baltimore School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Under the mentorship of professor Eli Y. Adashi he completed within a two year period a significant amount of high quality scientific work, part of which has been published in high-impact scientific journals (see list of publication). He also won the prestigious award of “Merck Senior Fellow” by the Endocrine Society in 1994.
Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Kol returned to Rambam Medical Center as an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Currently, Dr. Kol concentrates clinically in the field of In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), both at Rambam Medical Center and in a private IVF program located in “Elisha”, which is the private hospital for Northern Israel. He was involved in numerous publications in this field.
In July 2013 Dr. Kol was nominated as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
