The first hospital in Israel to offer acupuncture treatment to women undergoing IVF treatment.
Acupuncture is offered in many famous IVF centres around the world. Recent studies, published in reputable medical journals, show that the chances of pregnancy are increased significantly for women who also receive acupuncture treatment.
We are offering every woman undergoing IVF the opportunity to have acupuncture treatment before and after embryo transfer. This will take place at the hospital, approximately 30 minutes before embryo transfer and immediately after. In addition, every patient / couple will be offered a consultation to tailor a more comprehensive acupuncture program to support every stage of the treatment and pregnancy.
Shai Golan MBAcC, will be running the program at Elisha. Shai is a senior lecturer in Chinese Medicine from the University of Westminster, London. He has many years experience working in hospitals and private clinics in England and has helped many women become pregnant. Shai will also be supervising and working closely with colleagues who have the relevant experience and training.
